I was recently invited to a co-worker’s birthday party at Antonio Inoki’s Saka-Bar in Ikebukuro. For those who haven’t heard of Antonio Inoki, he was a WWF-like pro wrestler in Japan and is known best for his ‘Genki desu ka!!!’ catch phrase and an occasional face slap of celebrities on variety shows. As of late he has become involved in the izakaya business and has 4 locations in Japan.
